300 Vegans is a friendly invitation for the community of pre-vegans to meet and get help from vegans to make their shift. These events are creative, large, visually unified displays of vegans that create a psychological impact of awareness in the communities where they occur, in addition to connecting people to the support infrastructure with Local Vegan Resources Guides to empower a thriving vegan community.

We are here to have fun, show the joy that vegan living can bring, show the diversity of our movement’s demographic, develop momentum, and spread the message on vegan backs beyond these events thereafter every time our participants wear the VEGAN shirt (also known as “the vegan beacon”) by Nonviolence United which is the official shirt of these events. Imagine a million vegans wearing these shirts flooding over Washington DC in the largest organized display of vegan unity the world has ever seen.
